The Head Office of the Recycling Loop, in Telford you’ll join over 300 colleagues who are all working toward one shared goal: a world without waste.

About the role

Working in our Recycle Loop, you will be responsible for securing new business from a set of specific market sectors that are a key focus in our business growth strategy for our Construction and Infrastructure sectors.

A key requirement will be the development and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline that will come from a combination of self-generated and company provided leads. Success in these sectors is built upon trust, relationships and excellent customer service – going above and beyond in a competitive marketplace.

You will have the opportunity to engage and present to a variety of client stakeholders from on-site operations to the board room. The objective being to build a portfolio of profitable business accounts whilst generating social, economic and environmental value for customers. Supported by operational and senior management teams, you will be given the opportunity to grow with your customer base and play a critical part in the environmental performance of your customers.

This role offers a basic salary of £24,570, with on‑target earnings of £30k–£35k. You will have the opportunity to earn approximately £1,000 per month in commission, based on performance against a £1m annual new‑business target (equivalent to £10k per month from new business).

What we need from you

A 2:2 degree, equivalent or higher qualification is ideal but not a requirement; ideally but not limited to a subject related to Sales or Business.
Self-confidence, drive and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and the tenacity to develop into a new business, sales role.
An innovative thinker; sees change as an opportunity to grow new business.
Ability to work on own initiative, with the drive to take ownership of projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and mutually beneficial working relationships, both internally and externally.
Ability to rapidly absorb new and complex information with ease and speed to conduct an incisive analysis.
Energy and enthusiasm to deliver goals and achievements.
A full UK Driving Licence.
