We are currently looking for a Temporary Front of House Administrator to join our team in Stratford-upon-Avon on an initial one-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic individual who enjoys providing exceptional administrative and office support. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload, working effectively both independently and as part of a busy team. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a positive, professional approach and a willingness to get involved. We are looking for someone who is personable, adaptable, has a great sense of humour, and thrives in a collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reception and Front of House duties

Work on the Reception desk as first port of call for any external visitors, staff, and deliveries
Scan incoming post to relevant departments and take any out going post to the post office.
Manage the company’s stationery requirements and replenish and keep tidy the stock cupboard.
Book hire cars, taxis and couriers.
Manage the Office facilities and ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
Conduct new starter inductions and regular Health and Safety checks plus assist with ISO audits.

Administration Support

Provide ad hoc administration duties and support to other departments when required.
Maintain communication with the administration team and other departments.

Customer Service

Deliver excellent customer service, on the telephone, email and in person
Develop an understanding of operational activities within Valpak to be able to assist different departments and visitors

Office Coordination

Book and set-up meeting rooms, order catering for internal and external meetings
Work closely with Office Coordinator to ensure all facilities issues are dealt with in a timely manner
Make travel arrangements when Office Coordinator is absent

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Skills

Previous experience in a receptionist or administration role
Capability to multitask, prioritise and manage own workload
Able to work well under pressure
An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional administration support
Customer focused with strong communication skills
Customer focused with drive to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction
Able to pick up new skills and knowledge quickly and learn and develop in an ever-changing company
IT literate: Word, Excel and Access

Qualifications

Educated to a minimum of A Level or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence
