About the role

Noventiz, part of Reconomy, is strengthening its Accounting team in Cologne and we’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant With German to join us.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency—working closely with international colleagues and supporting seamless financial operations.

What we need from you

🚀 What You’ll Do

✅ Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing and payment runs

📊 Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in daily financial transactions

📁 Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentation

📈 Support cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting activities

📌 Process general ledger entries, accruals, and provisions

📆 Assist in monthly and annual financial closing

🤝 Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders

⚡ Identify and drive improvements to financial processes

🎯 What You Bring

3–5 years of experience in financial accounting
Solid understanding of HGB (IFRS is a plus)
Experience with Datev and ERP systems
Confident use of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Good knowledge of German tax rules
Strong communication skills in German & English
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset

Nice to have:

Certified Accountant qualification or degree in Finance/Accounting
Experience in intercompany reconciliations and group reporting
Prior exposure to audits and international environments
