About the role

In this role, you will be selling the Valpak Data Insight Platform, a single platform for analyzing packaging, EPR costs and recyclability across global markets. Your focus will be on new sales developed upon leads provided to you. Built on the world’s largest packaging and product dataset, over 60 million SKUs, Valpak’s Global Data Insights Platform gives businesses a single source of truth to manage packaging obligations, recyclability and EPR compliance costs across multiple countries. Used by leading retailers and brand owners, it provides fast, intuitive analysis of large data volumes, helping teams identify improvement opportunities, model design changes and meet sustainability and corporate social responsibility targets.

Drive new business growth by identifying and targeting potential clients who can benefit from Packaging Data Insights.
Optimize the sales funnel by performing market research to pinpoint key industries and high-value customers.
Generate qualified leads through online research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events to expand client reach.
Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their EPR needs and propose tailored solutions using the Data Insights platform.
Consultative sales skills for communicating key USPs in different customer scenarios.
Develop a deep understanding of the Data Insights Platform and its applications to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the benefits of Data Insights, addressing clients' unique requirements and demonstrating how our solutions can add value to their operations.
Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through CRM software.
Collaborate with clients on pricing and contractual agreements, utilizing strong negotiation skills to close deals.
Stay informed about industry EPA regulations, trends, competitor activities, and market demands related to material handling solutions.

What we need from you

7 - 10 years of business development, sales management, or sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, sustainability, marketing, engineering, or law.
Strong consultation and negotiation skills with an understanding of contract terms and conditions, specifically liability and intellectual property.
Deep understanding of EPR packaging responsibilities in various jurisdictions in the US.
Ability to work with teams in various Reconomy companies.
Strong Microsoft Office and CRM skills, Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
Ability to mentor junior members of team.
